Davida Kruger, MSN, APRN-BC, BC-ADM, has been a certified nurse practitioner in diabetes for the past 22 years at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Her role includes both clinical practice and research. Ms. Kruger has been a principal investigator on a number of research projects and has written widely on diabetes care, authoring the book The Diabetes Travel Guide (2000). Davida is a recipient of the Award for Outstanding Service in Diabetes Research Funding. Determined to raise as much money as possible for diabetes research since assuming her role with the American Diabetes Association Research Foundation in 1997, Ms. Kruger raises more than $1 million annually.

Marian, an advanced practice nurse trained in clinical research, is a Research Associate in Medicine and Faculty Associate in Nursing at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Schools of Medicine (SOM) & Nursing (SON) in Baltimore, MD. She is also a core faculty member of the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology, and Clinical Research, a collaboration of the Johns Hopkins University Schools of Medicine and Public Health. Suzanne Ghiloni, BSN, RN, CDE, is an Advanced Practice Diabetes Specialist who has been an educator at the Joslin Clinic for over 25 years specializing in pregnancy and pump therapy. Amparo Gonzalez, BSN, RN, CDE

Amparo Gonzalez, BSN, RN, CDE, president elect to the AADE, is currently affiliated with Emory University School of Medicine and the director of the Georgia Latino Diabetes Program. Since December 2005, she has planned , designed and implemented a diabetes program conducted entirely in Spanish. Amparo also serves as an adjunct professor at Emory University School of Nursing. Reflecting her interest in diversity-related issues, Amparo served on the organizing committee for the First national Latino Diabetes Forum. The Forum resulted in the establishment of the National Hispanic-Latino Diabetes Federation. Ms. Gonzalez is also an editorial advisor of Diabetes Forecast en Español.
