Baxter Watkins
Baxter brings 35 years of experience in life sciences and medical devices, including work for major blood glucose companies. He also holds the record for the fastest class III medical device approval in FDA history. Baxter has had key involvement in six successful medical device companies and has lead FDA regulatory and CMS (formerly HCFA) reimbursement teams numerous times. Currently, he serves as the Executive Vice President of Marketing, and Chairman of the Board, for Shielding for Electronics, a California-based company that develops innovative EMI/RFI shielding solutions. The author of seven patents, he holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of California at Fresno. Baxter contributes his expertise on regulatory, reimbursement, and medical device industry trends.
