Dr. William Hsu, M.D.
William C. Hsu, M.D., is a diabetologist, a clinical investigator, the director of Asian Clinic and the Co-Director for the Asian American Diabetes Initiative at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston. His research interests focus on developing and applying novel medical technologies for the treatment of diabetes. Dr. Hsu has worked with a number of medical technology companies in the past, bringing clinical insight into product design, development and services. In addition, his research interests extend to understanding the causes of diabetes in Asian Americans. Dr. Hsu received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, and completed his residence training in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. He completed his clinical training in endocrinology and metabolism at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard Medical School. His undergraduate degree is from Cornell University. He has received teaching awards from Yale University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School.
